A wonderful newborn sized hat and matching scratch mittens made from soft stretchy fabrics. All fabric is prewashed in scent free detergent and come attached to an information card. Born with a condition called Transposition of the Greater Arteries, at only 5 days old she had open heart surgery. She then spent 4 more weeks in the Stollery NICU. The first time I got to visit Meera, at 3 days old, I brought up and donated the first batch of Meera's Mittens to the Stollery. Since then there have been over 500 sets donated to various hospitals in Canada. Every set of hat and mittens is hand sewn in Cochrane Alberta.
