The adventures continue as ten-year-old Hana and her unusual best friend Amber, are on their way to Mossy March for a summer vacation. Their families have rented two remote cabins deep in the heart of the Wetlands. While visiting a nearby village, they make friends with local twins, Kai and Dakota, whose grandmother fills their imaginations with folklore tales of witchcraft and deadly serpents. A whispering tree magically connects with Amber's little sister, Tunny, offering her clues to a mystery. It warns them of an evil plan that is threatening the very existence of the animals and plants that depend on human co-operation to survive. But the answers they're looking for are hidden amongst eerie swamps, remote islands and old forgotten ruins. They look to their families for help.
What they soon discover, is that ancient tales can actually tales can actually come to life, and the threat of an old woman known as the Mudwitch...is more than just a story.
